[It had been a few days since Kaname arrived in Luceti, feeling more than a little disorientated and confused. He'd been convinced it was all a dream until he woke up again the next day, his back still sore from those wings.]
[The voice that sounds out from the journal might sound a tad more distressed than he usually would. You would be too if you suddenly found yourself in another world with no one you knew! Not that he'd want to subject his family and friends to this place, if everything that guide says is true. Experiments, a war, people with mysterious powers... it'd be a lie to say it wasn't a little exciting, but for the most part, he's just worried about what'll come next.]
[And whatever that was going to be, he couldn't shake the feeling that it'd be best not to try and face it all on his own.]
This may or may not be a longshot, but is there anyone else here from Japan? ...er, on earth. [...] And it was 2010 when I left, but I guess people can come from different times even if they know each other, right? [He taps the journal a few times and makes a face. It is recording, right...? Awkward pause.]
...sorry, I'm still trying to figure out how all this works. So, does pressing this make it sto--

Fall in love?
[WHAT KIND OF SCIENTISTS.....]
[voice]
[voice]
But how do they do things like that? Is it like something they put in the water? [Please say no because that implication is mildly horrifying.]
[voice]
A-actually, the only way I could describe it would be to say 'it just happens'. I didn't even realise anything had happened until afterwards. ... Up until then, I was convinced I was in love with someone else.
[voice]
[RADIO SILENCE FOR LIKE A MINUTE you broke his brain.]
...and stuff like this... happens all the time?
[voice]
Not that sort of thing, really? That's... rarer.
[voice]
[...rabu...]
Does that mean I won't even know there's been a shift until after one's over with?
[voice]
[voice]
The moon was falling? [Okay, putting aside the who how is that even possible aspect of things:] What happened when it... landed?
[voice]
It... went back to how it is before. We all just woke up in our beds the next morning.
[voice]
Just like that? That makes it sound like nothing happened...
[voice]
Mm... Still, we remembered it.
[voice]
...and that's probably almost as bad as if it really happened.
[He can infer that much. Though having everyone not die in an apocalyptic death is... kind of a plus...?]
Are they always that extreme? If the other one was rarer and this one only happened once...
[voice]
Well, Shifts are pretty odd... For example, another one had everyone thinking they were fairytale characters...?
