[It had been a few days since Kaname arrived in Luceti, feeling more than a little disorientated and confused. He'd been convinced it was all a dream until he woke up again the next day, his back still sore from those wings.]

[The voice that sounds out from the journal might sound a tad more distressed than he usually would. You would be too if you suddenly found yourself in another world with no one you knew! Not that he'd want to subject his family and friends to this place, if everything that guide says is true. Experiments, a war, people with mysterious powers... it'd be a lie to say it wasn't a little exciting, but for the most part, he's just worried about what'll come next.]

[And whatever that was going to be, he couldn't shake the feeling that it'd be best not to try and face it all on his own.]

This may or may not be a longshot, but is there anyone else here from Japan? ...er, on earth. [...] And it was 2010 when I left, but I guess people can come from different times even if they know each other, right? [He taps the journal a few times and makes a face. It is recording, right...? Awkward pause.]

[Every day Takashi comes across entries where friends reunite with each other and in a way, he feels almost jealous. Sure he has Nyanko-sensei with him now and even Reiko--but they don't talk very often, too much awkward--but he doesn't have one of those close friends he can run up to and say "I missed you!" or worry about them now that they're trapped here.

Well. At least up until now he didn't have anyone like that.

When he comes across this specific entry, the color practically drains from his face and all he can do is stare at it for a good five minutes. Any words that his brain tries to process get stuck in his dry throat.

Out of all of the people from his world... he never expected Tanuma to get here. Ever. Maybe he didn't want him here? He didn't want him to be stuck here and get hurt. But there's also part of him that's actually happy to see him here. He's been incredibly homesick lately and seeing a familiar face that isn't a supposed to be dead grandmother or fat cat is nice.]
